About us

The Premier 10s Rugby Tournament was created as an event to help increase participation of Rugby in competitive sports tournaments. We believe that sports can play a major role in improving health and wellbeing of our communities and in turn give participants opportunities to refine their resilience and improve their self-esteem through positive environments.

We aim to provide a great experience for all participants and spectators through professional delivery of this rugby tournament.

Prizes

Prize Money & Payout Structure

Prize Pool Allocation

  1. The total prize pool for the Tournament is calculated at 80% of all team registration fees received.

  2. The Tournament is a high‑stakes, winner‑takes‑all style competition, with only the top three (3) placing teams eligible to receive financial

    rewards.

Payout Distribution

  1. The 80% prize pool will be distributed to the top three (3) teams as follows:

    • 1st Place – 60% of the prize pool

    • 2nd Place – 30% of the prize pool

    • 3rd Place – 10% of the prize pool

General Conditions

  1. Prize money will be calculated and confirmed once all registrations have closed and payments have been received.

  2. Any team withdrawn, disqualified, or failing to meet tournament requirements forfeits any claim to prize money.

  3. TSEC reserves the right to amend prize distribution only in the event of unforeseen circumstances; however, the 80% allocation model will remain guaranteed.

  4. All prize payments will be made to the team’s nominated bank account within a reasonable timeframe following the conclusion of the Tournament.
